I finally was able to update to iOS 6 beta 4, and one new feature immediately showed up. When a new iOS device is set up running iOS 5 or higher, it goes through this setup process on the device. It appears that a similar process will occur after updating.
Another step include enabling Location Services. In the second screenshot, the switch from @me.com addresses to @icloud.com addresses is clearly shown. Digging deeper into the Settings app(Settings > iCloud > Account > Mail), I found where to set the default sending address between @me.com and @icloud.com. Under it are toggles to basically enable or disable either address from send mail at all. Looks like MobileMe is taking its final breaths.
Other than that, the YouTube app is gone now because Apple's license to use it ended. Google is apparently working on a new official YouTube app for the app store, and based on how crappy the old YouTube app was and how well Google has been doing with putting iOS apps together, it's probably a turn for the better.
Also, a "feature" that I complained about in my last post has been corrected: when opening Passbook, the brightness is set to 75%. In beta 3, it stayed that way even after exiting Passbook, which meant having to go into the Settings app to change the brightness every time Passbook was opened. Now, in beta 4, leaving Passbook returns the brightness to the setting it was before opening Passbook. iOS 6's official September release is looking promising.
(Oh, and Apple added a rickroll in the changelog. See the YouTube section.)
