Media Downloader is a robust media manager app that centers around downloading files from the Internet. It includes a browser that resembles Safari, a downloads page, a file system, and multiple sharing options. I don't use the app for the browser, and I rarely use it to download files. Instead, I use it as a raw file system manager that I can dump any sort of file into from my computer. It'll unarchive .zip and .rar files, and it'll play almost any format of music or video. I can use Bluetooth to transfer files from my iPhone to my iPad, or to get files into apps I want (like .epub or .pdf files into iBooks). It has so much potential, which is what I love about it, and it's why I use it for so many things.
When there's a bunch of videos I took on my iPhone that I want on my iPad, instead of having to go through iTunes, sync them from my iPhone, then to my iPad; I just export the videos from my iPhone through Windows Explorer, then use a program like iFunBox to put them into Media Downloader, and from Media Downloader I can add them to my Camera Roll. It's much quicker than doing 2 syncs. With smaller files like photos, Bluetooth takes even less time, and you don't even have to leave the app.
